5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing collar!

We got this collar after we had the wire collar, and it is amazing! The setup was a little difficult for my husband, but once he reread the directions a couple of times, he said set up was a breeze! My girl has been wearing it for a few days, and we have had no issues! She was very big on digging holes and being gone within a matter of minutes. I highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice size

The collar came with each piece separately so there was a bit of assembly for the strap to be threaded through the mechanism. Afterwards, the collar is large enough to fit most dogs. My dog has a thick neck and I’m happy to see that this isn’t an issue on her.
We had an incident where she ran off and almost got run over by a car. I don’t like the idea of shock Collars, but I’d much rather a small shock than a car to hit her. She’s a good dog, she just likes to go for adventures.
Instructions were thorough on putting it together, but not as clear on how to place it correctly on the dog.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well

This collar gives very accurate boundaries, which is hard to find in wireless collars. You can choose to have a beeping sound, vibration, or shock go off when your dog gets to the boundary line. You can also set it to use two or all three of these if you think your dog needs it. This is a great collar for headstrong dogs because the collar goes off repeatedly until the dog comes back inside the boundary. It comes with a quick installation manual, which was easy to read. It probably took me about ten minutes to set it up. The collar also holds a charge for a nice long time and it remembers my settings. Great improvement on wireless fences of the past.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wireless GPS collar

Received the item fast. Setup was easy. So far my pup is respecting the boundaries since she does NOT like the stimulant when she ventured too far. Please be careful when fitting the collar. Our girl has very long hair making it difficult to fit to her properly. Since the leads must make contact to skin for stimulant to work it is easy to put the collar on too tight. I am satisfied with this purchase. Seller is responsive and accommodating. I recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best for open space containment.

It’s definitely working. Not sure why this collard works better than the other collard that I have which is the wired version, but first try with this one and my German Shepherd ran away like scary cat crying when he got shocked after he ignored the warring in form of beeping and vibrations. Not sure the difference as the shocks between the two feels about the same when I try them on myself by holding them in my hand. With my old collard he is standing in the “blast zone” like nothing is happening.

Now when it comes to usage, its super easy to manage the setting , once powered it takes couple minutes to lock on satellites. In my case easily 10+ satellites all the time with full signal.

It will not work in home as the manual says and the area is definitely not exact I would guess +- 10ft I can see the usage for some one with big open field, like a farm or big lawn.

So far so good and for now will give 5 stars for being simple and effective.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Dog Fence and Easy to Use!

I really love this dog fence. It’s easy to use and quick to set up. No need to bury a wire. You just let it acquire a GPS signal, set the center point, and set the desired binary radius. It took less than 10 minutes to setup. It’s also fairly accurate. I’d estimate within about +/-10 feet. You can also turn the audio alerts on/off and adjust the vibrate and shock intensities.
My dog Mila is an escape artist, and I haven’t been able to keep her from digging under the fence. Mila was easy to train on the dog collar and learned the boundaries quickly. Now she stays in the yard. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who needs a wireless dog fence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive but make sure it works for your situation

The product sets up easily and works but the limitations are tree cover hurts the gps coverage and the radius goes out in circle while most yards are going to be square. Depending on your situation it may be better to go with a wire system. The perfect system would be one that paired with a phone and be able to walk the perimeter you want set up rather a than generic radius of different distances. It’s great too that you can have it beep vibrate or shock. So if your dog responds to vibrate or beep you don’t have to shock your loved one. Also I have used other products from this company and the support is VERY good. They care about their brand which is great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Effective after one day!

Our dog previously used the wired fence and learned the boundaries quickly; he did the same for this one. Easy to setup and effective. Highly recommended going straight to this and not bothering with a wired fence

Peace of mind knowing my dog is within the designated area, so much easier than putting in ground wiring electronic fences.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking for

I purchased this product not knowing what to expect and by far it’s exceeded my expectation, the shocker works and alarm is loud and the n ration gets my dogs attention. I have a 40lb 9 month old Great Dane and he responds to the beeping and vibration. I don’t use the shock but I did test it on myself 😳 and it works great. Would definitely recommend buying this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Well

The product definitely works once you figure out some of the nuances. The instructions are a bit lacking but basically you need to set the collar outside for a few minutes for it to lock on the GPS signal before it goes on your dog. If you just put this on the dog without getting it to lock first and the dog is running around – it never seems to be able to lock onto a signal. Strange quirk.

5.0 out of 5 stars More reliable than a wired invisible fence

I previously used an invisible fence system that seemed to only work intermittently and was toast after a couple months due to a break in one of the wires. Even after replacing the wire it would sometimes go off even if my dog was in the middle of the wired area, away from the borders of our yard, so I was very interested in trying this GPS model instead.

The border of the minimum area is slightly outside of our yard parameters, but if my dog were to run off into the neighbor’s yard after a squirrel or bunny, at least there would be correction once he got to that point so he could return to our yard. This is a MAJOR bonus because with the wired system, it would only correct once he passed over the wire, and not if he kept going beyond.

The GPS system has only had one flaw: one day when my dog was inside about an hour after being outside and still had his collar on I heard it beep and thought it may have corrected while he was inside the house, and also pretty close to the central point on our property where I set up the GPS. This is not a big deal for us, since it was just the one time so far, and we can just remove the collar while he is inside. I’m also not absolutely certain that it was a correction, because I only heard one beep – maybe it was a beep to let me know that it lost the GPS signal while in the house? It is also a larger unit than the previous wired invisible fence (which is understandable due to the technology used) so it is not something I would probably leave on him all day long anyway. One other thing I will mention though, is that I’m not sure if it’s my dog’s physiology (he has abundant neck skin), but with the bigger unit he is more easily able to shake the unit off to the side. I have a concern that if he were to trigger a correction that it might be shifted in a way that doesn’t properly deliver the shock, which is needed as he doesn’t always respond to a vibration or beep if he’s focused on going after a squirrel. So far it mostly stays on the front where it’s supposed to be, but it occasionally has traveled up closer to his ear when he shakes his head or scratches, and that makes me worry about the placement being incorrect or his fur getting in the way may end up preventing the correction. The collar is already pretty snug and I don’t want to overtighten it. If the manufacturer was able to change the unit to be slightly flatter and longer, this might not be as much of an issue with the centrifugal force when he shakes his head. Not removing any stars for this, because no correction system is absolutely perfect.

All in all, this does the job I need it to do and I’m willing to accommodate by removing the collar while my dog is in the house, as I feel it is much more reliable than a wired invisible fence system that could go out at any time without warning.

This unit gives me peace of mind that if my dog were leave the yard, the correction area is much larger and won’t only correct within 5 ft of a wire that may or may not work, or shock him multiple times in a row for no reason. I would recommend this unit to anyone with these concerns.

One last thing I want to mention that I have purchased from this brand in the past and the customer service has been amazing. I bought a correction collar that was just a remote with correction options (that I used after we got fed up with our wired invisible fence system that stopped working) and the unit I had stopped functioning after the return window closed. I emailed customer service and they shipped me a brand new unit right away for no cost, and also followed up with me afterward to make sure the new unit was working properly. I didn’t even have to pack up and return the old collar that wasn’t working. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and that new unit they sent me still works great 2 years later. This is a brand I trust and I know if I have any issues I can contact customer service with any questions or concerns and get a great response, which isn’t always the case with other brands on Amazon. So I also give five stars to their customer service department!

5.0 out of 5 stars No Wires, YAY!!!

First off let me say that the customer service was very good. Fast reply to emails. We have a a dog that will do anything he can to get out of our yard. We bought the wired pet fence and it worked well until my wife decided to use the weedeater and accidentally broke the line. It was an easy fix, but it took me awhile to unwind the wire from the motor. Next our dog decided to chase a skunk and hit the wooden fence that I had the wire on. He got his foot tangled in the wire and it kept shocking him. I thought there has to be a better way. I was looking around and came across this wireless GPS fence, I didn’t even know they had anything like this. It has been a game changer. So simple and easy to set up. Except for stupid me who didn’t read the instructions correctly, but with an email to customer service a very understanding rep showed me what to do, and didn’t criticize me for not reading the instructions. A few things to note, this is for a big yard min 30 yards, it’s not for small yards. You can bring this collar with you and set it up anywhere, very nice. You will need a few days to train you dog but once he/she has got it, it is great. If you have any questions contact them they have the best customer service. I also put the center point to include the house so he can run back and forth from the outside to the inside. I wasn’t able to do that with the wired system unless I had gone around the whole house. Love the fence!!

5.0 out of 5 stars It really works!

After failed attempts with two other wireless dog fences I hesitantly decided to try this one. Well third time is a charm ! It was easy to set up and configure for our pets. An added bonus the company was excellent to work with too. We can now watch our dogs play outside knowing they will remain safe in our protected area.

5.0 out of 5 stars No wires for my husky to break

Love that this uses GPS! Simple set up to create your zone. Doesn’t required the unit to be plugged in near to catch the zone. Had a unit by the same company and was able to staple the wire to my fence but had to bury the wire near the gate. My husky eventually found the wire near the gate and was able to break it. Simple splice of the wire to get it working again but I’m glad this doesn’t require that.

Also, since is now trained to the beeps I am super happy thats I can set it to only tone and vibrate to keep him inside the zone. If it is your first collar and you have a husky or other thick coated dog like a St Bernard or Shepard the customer service was great and sent me a set of longer probes to make contact. Would definitely order from the YTGT store again for their great customer experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Setup, Training Required

This GPS fence is a great way to secure my dogs without setting up a whole line. I’ve tried other fences, but the lines broke easily in the ground and were too much work to setup! Any electric fence requires a significant amount of training which is needed to make use of this product. Be ready to practice for several days with your dogs. I like that there are several modes: beep, vibrate, and electric. One dog responds right away to beeps. The other needed level 3 vibration. This product is a great way to keep pets safe and start quickly!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great for our good sized backyard

We have bought products through this company before and continue using them because of the high quality. The other dog fence we have had a wire we put in the ground. This was so much more convenient and easy to set up being that it’s wireless! It’s a collar that u program to set a perimeter that your dog will not cross. Took my husband a minute to set it up and the dogs learned quickly to stay out of my vegetable garden. Also, another thing that caught my eye on this new collar, is that it has gps tracking! How cool is that?! Highly recommend this product to any dog owner!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fence System!

I’ve purchased from this seller before and I keep coming back because of the great customer service and quality products.
This fence system is super easy to set up. Just a couple button presses and my dog was ready to go! I previously had a wired fence, but ended up with a break somewhere in the wire that I haven’t been able to find, so I decided to try a wireless system. My dog knows well enough from his other system that I only have to use vibrate with him. I love that this has that option! A lot of fences don’t allow you to choose, but with this you can choose from 3 (beep, vibrate, shock) or any combination of the 3. So this works out great for us. I love the fact that you choose the center point with the collar instead of the plug-in location, as that’s been very difficult to find. I have mine set on the farthest distance from the starting point, but there are several options for that too. Overall this is a great product and so affordable compared to others. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone!
